Copytrax Technologies Ltd (www.copytrax.com) manufactures short run CD printing and duplicating equipment that is used by CD publishers, duplicators, printers, offices and individuals throughout the world.

Copytrax Technologies were driven to look at their design process by the tight timescale requirements of a new longer-term project requiring increased research and development. This meant a need to change from 2D design with AutoCAD.

Copytrax Technologies evaluated a number of other CAD packages including Pro/ENGINEER, SolidEdge and Inventor. SolidWorks was chosen because of its amazing ease of use combined with powerful mechanical design functionality.
