1. SALES EXECUTIVE – CAD SOFTWARE SOLUTION SALES

SolidWorks Corporation - www.solidworks.com is the leader in 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology, empowering product design teams with intuitive, high performance software that is easy to use, and provides the freedom to design products with real competitive advantage. SolidWorks Corporation has grown rapidly in the last 10 years and is enjoying accelerating sales growth in the UK.

Innova Systems is a key Value Added Reseller for SolidWorks and is looking to expand its sales team to sell SolidWorks products within the following areas:

Eastern England, North London / North M25 and the south east and East Midlands

The Role

  • Building a Pipeline and Forecast of New Business within a specific region
  • Accurate Forecasting to Innova Sales Management
  • Identifying new prospects by research and cold calling to gain appointments
  • Holding customer meetings, identifying business issues and ‘pain points’
  • Handling customer objections and closing business
  • Building and running marketing campaigns in your region
  • Liaise with our technical consultants to prepare and discuss customer presentation demo's on products tailored towards the industry sector
  • Keeping abreast with the industry and technology by attending seminar and conferences with the vendor
  • Self sufficient by managing own daily, weekly activity and reporting on weekly basis
  • Attend team/management meetings when required with update on sales activity and training
  • Based from the Innova Cambridge office but may require some working from home
Requirements
Ideally the candidate will have direct sales experience with a proven track record. However, candidates with a technical background and looking for a sales career will also be considered.
  • Experience of selling/working into the mechanical, manufacturing, production or manufacturing industry is ideal
  • Solutions Sales – getting access to decision makers, identifying business issues, objection handling, negotiation and closing
  • Pipeline and forecast management i.e - managing their targets to meet their numbers by month end
  • Communication/Presentation skills - good verbal, written and formal presentation/communication
  • Personality - highly sales driven, a real go getter, energetic, good impact, resilient, intellect, patiently tenacious
  • Self managing skills – accountable, responsible and self sufficient, multi-tasker
  • Experience of working with vendors or distribution
  • Team player, builds strong relationship with the technical consultants to preparing customer presentations/demos

General notes
Our experience shows us that people with knowledge of mechanical, production or manufacturing industries ‘connect’ better with the companies that we sell to. However, proven sellers from outside of these industries will also be considered.
This position is suitable for an experienced sales person or someone who wishes to create a career within sales. Full training will be given. The attitude and desire to succeed in a tough competitive marketplace will ensure a successful applicant.

Package

  • A base salary of between £20,000 and £30,000 is available. The higher base will attract the candidates who are more experienced and who meet the ideal parts of our criteria
  • Car allowance of £500/month or a company car
  • Commission scheme based to achieve at least £15,000 on top of salary if targets are hit
  • Six month probationary period
2. SOLIDWORKS – TECHNICAL APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

Innova Systems is a key Value Added Reseller for SolidWorks and is looking to expand with a new technical Applications Engineer to help support our customers and to help the sales team.
We require a skilled Application Engineer, to be based at our office in Histon near Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

The Role

  • Reporting to the Managing Director and Technical Director you will be responsible for working as part of the technical team
  • Working with a broad range of customers who use SolidWorks to design their products
  • Responding to the needs of our customers to solve technical problems in using SolidWorks
  • Training of customers in the correct use of SolidWorks
  • Working with the sales team to accurately understand our customer’s requirements
  • Progression into product demonstrations of SolidWorks to prospective customers

Requirements

  • Engineering design experience gained in a design environment
  • Knowledge of a 3D CAD System, ideally SolidWorks bit Pro/ENGINEER or Inventor may also be useful
  • Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to multi task
  • Willingness to be flexible and to travel as required
  • Creative and a Team player
  • Graduate or HND qualified

General Notes
This role would suit an ambitious graduate with their first start into the world of helping customers with SolidWorks to design better products.

Package

  • Salary range £20-£30K PA dependant on experience
  • Annual holidays plus bank holidays
  • Six month probationary period
