Both Dawson and Aerofill are part of IWKA - a world leader in the packaging, robotics and mechanical engineering industries. Dawson and Aerofill have invested in three licenses of SolidWorks Office Premium and six licenses of SolidWorks Office Professional to replace the existing AutoCAD, Mechanical desktop and Inventor systems.

This decision was made following a comprehensive benchmark of AutoDESK and SolidWorks products. The testing was completed on real production data and involved topics such as large assembly performance, drawing production, design change updates, legacy data import capabilities, product stability and Data Management.

This was an example of the two companies jointly completing comprehensive research and testing of both AutoDESK Inventor and SolidWorks. The conclusion was simple – SolidWorks is proven to deliver in a production environment.
